Vision and Mission Statement of Foundation

Mr. Rezaur Rahman was to build a strong pool of scholars in Bangladesh in the basic science disciplines (STEM), with a strong emphasis on Mathematics in memory of his father, Mr.A.F.Mujibur Rahman, who was renowned for his prowess in Mathematics. Along with this central goal, the founder envisaged that a portion of funds be set aside for the education of young people from marginalized groups within Bangladesh so that they might be better able to take advantage of the opportunities available in society.

The members of the Board of the Foundation are committed to honouring the vision of the Founder. The Foundation has successfully carved out a niche for itself through its contributions to higher education in the field of Mathematics and related science subjects. The Foundation will continue to seek out and promote initiatives of various kinds that can contribute to building new generations of scholars in these fields. It will, in addition, earmark funds for projects that address the specific educational disadvantages of marginalized groups, and consider any initiatives in support of that goal, so as to enable them to improve their chances in life.
