AF Mujibur Rahman Maddhyamik Biddyalaya and Government Primary Biddyalaya:
AFMRF have been providing support to A F Mujibur Rahman Maddhyamik Biddyalaya and Government Primary Biddyalaya at Gerda (a small village at Faridpur and the birthplace of A F Mujibur Rahman) since their very inception. The school is well-managed with focus on excellence in both academic and extra-curricular activities.
Gold Medal Awards:
AFMRF has long tradition of offering ‘Gold Medal Awards for Excellence in Mathematics’ at Honours and masters level across many a public universities in Bangladesh including Dhaka University, Chittagong University, Khulna University, Rajshahi University, Shahjalal University (Sylhet), BUET and at the Government Rajendra College (Faridpur).
A F Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban:
AFMRF donated a fully-furnished, 8-storied building to Mathematics Department of Dhaka University. The building named as ‘A F Mujibur Rahman Ganit Bhaban’ was built at a cost of Tk 25 crore and was completed and handed over to Dhaka University in December 2014 with the hope that it will help the Mathematics Department of Dhaka University become a centre of excellence in teaching and research in Mathematics in the region.
National Undergraduates Mathematics Olympiad:
In order to encourage mathematics learning and education amongst youths AFMRF since 2013 has been sponsoring National Undergraduates Mathematics Olympiad, an annual event of competition in Mathematics for undergraduate students from across all universities in Bangladesh and organized by Bangladesh Mathematical society.
